"Dr. Miromanova is an excellent professor. She looks for feedback and ways to help us understand the material. Dr. Miromanova is very knowledgeable in her !eld. It is important who teaches a class. A professor can make a difference in a class or subject. Not everyone can teach. It is very important to me who teaches, and Dr. Miromanova taught me a lot!"

ECON 4340: International Economics

"Dr. Miromanova is a remarkable professor. She is witty and truly enjoys talking about the subject matter in a way to keep students interested. This is not an easy course by any means. But she absolutely excelled in making this material possible for everyone to understand and apply to real life. She is helpful, patient, and willing to put in the work on her end so that the students get the most out of this course. I was very grateful to have her as my professor during my last semester at SHSU. Truly, thank you Dr. Miromanova for a fantastic semester. I learned and retained so many valuable things from this class."

ECON 4340: International Economics

"Macroeconomics has been an absolutely incredible class having Anna Miromanova as the professor. Economics can be a di"cult subject to understand, but Professor Miromanova teaches it in a way that makes learning it much more understandable. Even if we do not understand at !rst, she strongly encourages the students to ask questions so she can further help. She explains all of the topics very well, answers questions very well, and in addition to making sure her students are doing well in the class, she frequently asks us how we are doing personally/in our other classes. She expresses great care for her students personal and academic well-beings. I am very happy that I had Professor Miromanova as my first economics professor in college."

ECON 2301: Principles of Macroeconomics

"Professor Miromanova is really great at teaching this class. When I first started I thought it was going to be hard, but she explained things very well and applied it to real life. We often worked in groups on practice examples to get the material down. She really cares about her students! She asks multiple times during lecture if there is any questions, comments, or complaints. She will stop and go back over something just for one person. She really is a great professor."

"Anna clearly has a deep understanding of the material and is able to present it in a way to her students that is user friendly. Her homework and exams are challenging, yet not overwhelming or impossible. It is clear that she cares about the well being of her students, and makes whatever time available to help them. Her expectations and explanations of all course material are very clear. As a result, students know what to expect and are set up for success. She can keep the class very focused, even at an undesirable class time because she can present the material in an applicable manner, while providing just the right amount of humor in lectures to keep students engaged. Overall, one of my favorite instructors I've ever had and any student would be lucky to take a class from Anna."
